We are hiring a Computer Vision Intern for the Video & Image Analytics, who want to work at the leading edge of automation in industries such as retail, public safety, healthcare and want to make their innovations real. We are looking for dedicated full-time intern who believes their contributions can make the world more productive and a better place to live.

Research, development and engineering performed by the team will include: understanding needs of the customers, overall video/imaging and sensing system design, extraction of understanding from images and real-time video streams, performing designed experiments to optimize the systems, and the delivery of robust prototypes leading to new product offerings. Examples include: (1) surveillance systems that monitor actions of persons and the state of objects and property for public safety and retail (2) systems that monitor and determine the state of production facilities and workflows enabling optimization and real-time control. (3) systems that aid intelligent transportation networks and self-optimize to enhance user experience. You must develop real-time analysis of video streams for purposes like object recognition and tracking, are proficient with neural network-based approaches, and are familiar with techniques to efficiently apply machine learning at scale.

What you will be doing:

•  Candidate will assist in the development of video data sets and analytics.
•  Individuals will contribute to a team using state of the art open source tools as well as invent new CV models or use the pre-existing models.
•  They will design and prototype novel applications that intelligently extract understanding from image streams.

Desired skills and experience:
  • Appearing/Completed BE/ME or Master’s in computer Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to stay abreast of trends and developments in domain area of expertise, and broader extended areas.
  • Experience with image or video annotations and analytics (i.e. detection, identification, segmentation)
  • Experience with neural network frameworks, such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, Caffe2, Keras, is desirable.
  • Practical experience with GPU-based acceleration using CUDA/CuDNN or TensorRT.
  • Knowledge of deep learning algorithms and workflows, including deployment on edge devices.
  • Ability to absorb complex technical information and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
