Automaton AI has an immediate need for a motivated individual to join our family as a Data Engineer. The Candidate will have a great opportunity to develop the standard tools and processes for our products. We are now
looking for a Data Engineer with data transformation (ETL) experience working with the latest industry tools.

What you will be doing:
  • Responsible for design and implementation of secure and scalable infrastructure in AWS/Azure cloud
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline across AWS cloud platform for Data Science projects
  • Own and automate the infrastructure provisioning, demand forecasting and capacity planning
  • Understanding of CPU vs GPU compute, optimizing model performance as per target environment
  • Build tools and automation to improve system availaibility, reliability, performance, monitoring, and
    scalability
  • Model monitoring using cloud monitoring services (AWS Cloud Watch)
  • Monitoring system, application health, security controls and cost
  • Envision, implement and rollout best MLOps tools and automation
  • Create ETL pipeline for AI models
  • Data analytics dashboard, creation and automation of analytics reporting
  • Ability to deploy AI models built on Python
  • Implementation of model drift detection solution
  • Good understanding of AI model packaging and creating deployable packages on AWS/Azure cloud
  • Hosting AI services and their scalabilities on AWS/Azure AI cloud services
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI services AWS Bedrock, Open AI ChatGPT, Google Bard
  • Python – Develop, maintain code, and integrate software into a fully functional software system.
  • Participate in daily scum meetings, sprint retrospectives, and other agile processes.
  • Provide and maintain documentation of system architecture, development, and enhancements.
Desired skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with 3 or more years experience from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS/Azure with current industry standard DevOps tools and practices
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Good understanding of data analytics. Hands-on experience with Quicksight, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and services such as AWS cloud watch
  • Experience migrating workloads from on-premises to AWS/Azure
  • Strive for Continuous improvement and build continuation integration, continuous development and constant deployment pipeline
  • Demonstrated understanding of high scale cloud architecture
  • Linux/Unix experience
  • Object Oriented programming language
  • Experience with monitoring tools
  • Expertise in data ingestion, data transformation (ETL), and data modeling.
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience migrating workloads from on-premises to AWS/Azure
  • Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and cloud formation
  • Excellent experience with with Source code management tools (git)
  • Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
  • Experience working with Restful web services Experience with code development, deployment, versioning, and build tools (eg, Eclipse, git, svn, maven, Jenkins)
  • Experience developing applications that work with NoSQL stores (eg, ElasticSearch, Hbase, Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchDB)
  • Working in cloud architecture with AWS EC2, Azure, RDS, S3, VPC, GCP, Elastic Search
