Software Engineer Backend

We are hiring backend software engineer to work on the Automaton AI’s AutoML tools/platforms which accelerates modern day Applications in AI, on different hardware accelerators like Nvidia, Intel, AMD. Our team delivers data-preprocessing tools with features and improvements to better create the potential applications in AI, deep learning, & ML. You will work in fun, dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

As a member of our team, you will use your design abilities, coding expertise, and creativity to deliver the best compute platform in the world. You will craft elegant Deep learning tools to exciting problems.
Evangelize, architect, and implement new features in the tools
Write effective, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Building high quality AI applications, you will learn and apply full stack software development skills, including frontend / UI, backend business logic and data management, machine learning model training, and cloud deployment.
You will be immersed in a highly dynamic and agile development environment.
Deliver AI tools to clients’ hands.
Build internal ETL data pipelines and storage.
Build service and databases infrastructure.

Desired skills and experience:

BE/ME degree is required in CS or related technical field.
Strong Python programming skills
Broad and solid CS foundation knowledge, including data structures & algorithms, OS, Computer Networks, databases.
Strong ability to convert ideas to running code.
Proficiency in at least one compiled language and one script language.
Basic software design pattern. Your code should be easy to extend and scale.
Experience in desktop or web application development.
Experience in setting up and using data pipelines and databases, including data streaming, MongoDB, SQL, DFS, etc.
Knowledge about basics of Machine Learning / Deep Learning

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Experience with big data techniques (Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark) and querying tools (such as Hive, Pig).
Experience with HTML, CSS, Angular, Canvas and JavaScript and Backend Design.
Experience with the cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP, Snowflake, etc.
