The power transmission lines are the crucial link between the power plants and the points of their consumption. Any damage to transmission lines could lead to broken or damaged insulators. The automaton has made use of recursive CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks) to detect insulators in visible images and identify their status as good, broken, or flashover.
